Unlocking Your Highest Potential

Birthing: Old Trauma Released

What happened to you at birth could still be affecting your life. Yesterday I attended a birth workshop & learned that what we experience at birth gets locked inside our Vegas nerve. Do you crave caffeine? Feel tired, have digestive problems, or trouble speaking out for what you want? All of these can be signs that you experienced a pre or postnatal “trauma” that is affecting you today. How is this possible you ask?

The nervous system is broken into two parts the Sympathetic (fight or flight) & Parasympathetic (Rest & Regenerate). Often programs get stuck inside one of these & create a broken record effect that our body can’t overcome. Pain, disease and other symptoms occur when one of these is out of balance. I have explained how this works in this video.

Deeper than the Sympathetic & PS is the Vagal Complex. Vegas nerve is the biggest cranial nerve. It is broken into 2 parts. The ventral (Front) Dorsal (Back). The ventral affects our social engagement, vocal, voice, speaking out. The Dorsal affects the brain, slows us down, reptilian brain.

Imprinting comes from the outside. Were you given anesthesia at birth? Many of these people need caffeine because their bodies were numbed at the point of birth. Forceps have been shown to change the structure of the head as well as have predictable effects on children. Were you breech? Do you pull in your emotions, feel checked out, disconnected from others? Often these babies twist, leave their bodies, pull in, freeze up, shut down & can do things backwards from other children. What if you were a natural birth? You may have trouble relating to all of the numbed people of the world, because you are more connected to your body. What’s exciting is that when you lift off the pattern, the person changes.
