Holy Water Focus

Through my journey as a healer I have experienced interesting miracles. Often these are shown to me to illustrate a point or share some lesson for me to be aware of. I wanted to share this story with you.

Last year I attended an Atma Puja with Amma where Holy Water was given to us. This water was important to me, but shortly after the ceremony someone came to me with scattery energy. I got caught up in this distracting energy & someone took my Holy water. I was disappointed that I had lost my focus & something so precious had been taken from me.

A year has past & Friday I attended another Atma Puja. I guarded this Holy water with all my focus. As I walked out of the hall, crowds were jarring me & my water was splashing out of the container. I cherished each drop, wiping the spills & rubbing it on my body. I was feeling the loss, but determined to protect each drop.

As I exited the hall I was standing a moment & suddenly another container of Holy Water fell at my feet as though it had fallen out of my skirt. I looked around but no one had dropped theirs. Even as it fell at my feet, the lid held tight, yet my container had sloshed out just walking with it. I realized that I had maintained my focus in the chaos, I cherished this precious gift & now my lost water from last year had been returned to me.

Things seems quiet now, someone described it as hollow. Many people understand the affects of Mercury Retrograde, (which we are in now) but I wasn’t sure if you knew 5 planets are in retrograde now. Mercury is still retrograde until June 19 at 7:31 AM between 20º07’ and 12º59’ Gemini. We are likely to see or hear from many people whom we hadn’t been in contact with for a long time. A great period to work on a manuscript that has been collecting dust on a shelf. Wonderful for short trips that help us reconnect with elements of our life we had forgotten about, are likely to take place. A book, a documentary, a conference… could open us to new ideas. This retrogradation is perfect for investigating unusual concepts and developing new understandings about life . We could develop a whole new vision of ourselves. This position asks us to let go of past attachments and distorted perceptions.

Jupiter is still retrograde this whole month between 21º35’ and 18º39’ Capricorn. These four degrees are described in the Sabian Symbols respectively as “By accepting defeat gracefully, a general reveals nobility of character”, “A relay race”, “a hidden choir is singing during a religious service” and “a five-year old child carrying a bag of groceries”. We are being asked to open our hearts more and to realize that no matter how heavy our load seems, how painful a defeat can seem.. These are really all illusions. The more we keep our focus on the positive that comes out of these experiences, of the lessons to be learned, the happier we shall be. As we remember that we are in this all together and that what one who raises his/her vibrations in love affects all, we shall realize that all is in divine order and that beyond dark clouds, the sky is always blue and the sun never stops shining.

Uranus turns retrograde on Thursday 6/26 at 5:01 PM at 22º39’ Pisces and will remain so until November 27th. This degree is symbolized by “a materializing medium giving a séance”. As we free ourselves from old conditionings and limiting/limited negative concepts such as “I can’t do this”, “this is impossible”, “this always happens like that”…., we shall not only recognize our capacity to tap into the unlimited, but we shall be able to use those forces to manifest anything we desire in our concrete reality. The more those desires are fueled by love and clarity, the more powerful the changes in our lives will be.

Neptune is still retrograde this whole month between 24º14’ and 23º57’ Aquarius. These two degrees are symbolized by “A butterfly with the right wing perfectly formed” and “A man, having overcome his passions, teaches deep wisdom in terms of his experience”. Our divinity lies in our imperfections. Some of the greatest saints were also the greatest sinners. It is darkness which reveals light. If we hadn’t experienced some of the more denser passions (fear, jealousy…) and found ways to evolve beyond them, how could we understand what others are going through, let alone help them heal?

Pluto is still retrograde this whole month between 0º19’ Capricorn and 29º35’ Sagittarius. The Sabian Symbols describe those two degrees as being: “An Indian Chief claims power from the assembled tribe” and ” The Pope, blessing the faithful”. As we look at authority figures, we should see ourselves. Our power is not outside of us, but inside. When we realize how unlimited we are, how huge and beautiful we are, that we are no less than a reflection of the divine, we too, no matter what our work is (at the post office, at a grocery store…) can become a beacon of light and can make a real difference in this world.
